I am what my failures have made me. I am a perfectionist (now), I admit. A classic Type A and every mistake bugs the hell out of me and sometimes I dwell (a lot). Unseen by most are my previous years of: making gaffes, miscalculations, errors of judgment, oversights, balls-ups...
From immature comments and actions as very young #BritishAirways flight attendant to making some naive decisions and absolute howlers through my previous career as an #RoyalAirForce officer. I’ve been identifying training lessons whilst scraping myself through many a tough #triathlon race, awkward mistakes as a #personaltrainer and now as a #studentphysiotherapist. Goodness knows I’ve also made some super cracking ones as mother and wife too!
Needless to say I have made some absolute stinkers of decisions, some of which have come back to bite me in the arse and some I’ve managed to scrape by with. All of which I have learnt from and guess what, I’m still here! I’m human! Would I change it? (well, ok maybe a couple) BUT I am who I am, and I can do what I do, through every single mistake I’ve made and the fantastic friends and family I have to help help guide. It’s never about luck. You make your own.
